Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which product categories does EPR cover?
Packaging, WEEE/EEE, Batteries, Textiles, Furniture, Toys, DIY, Construction materials, SUP, and more — depending on the country. EAS can advise which apply to your products.
2. Are contribution fees included in EAS's pricing?
No — PRO minimum contribution fees are billed directly by the PRO. EAS service fees cover registration, data preparation, reporting services, and where applicable, authorised representation.
3. How often do we need to report?
Filing frequency varies by country and PRO: annually, quarterly, or monthly. EAS recommends the most cost-effective and compliant cadence for each registration.
4. What is Authorised Representation?
In countries where non-EU producers must appoint a local representative, for example Spain and Germany for WEEE/Batteries, EAS arranges this through its network of partners.
5. What happens if regulations change?
EAS continuously monitors regulatory updates across all markets and proactively communicates any changes that affect your obligations — at no extra cost.
