UK to EU delivery made simpler, no matter the order value
One EAS workflow for EAS IOSS Delivery and higher-value DDP orders.
Taxes, duties and delivery charges are handled through EAS, so EU customers receive their orders without separate border payments. Merchants gain clear country pricing, automatic IOSS or DDP routing, zero-duty support when UK origin qualifies, and import VAT recovery on returned DDP orders.
EAS IOSS Delivery and EAS DDP in one UK to EU workflow
EAS automatically applies the correct route for the order value. Eligible orders use EAS IOSS Delivery and higher-value orders use EAS DDP, while the merchant keeps one operational setup and one customer experience.
EAS IOSS Delivery
Use EAS IOSS together with the EAS delivery method for eligible ecommerce orders.
- ✓VAT and applicable duties paid through EAS
- ✓No DDP percentage fee on IOSS deliveries
- ✓One delivery method across the EU
EAS DDP
Use EAS DDP when the order is outside the IOSS route and requires a full import workflow.
- ✓Import VAT and customs duties handled upfront
- ✓Preferential treatment support for qualifying UK-made goods
- ✓90% import VAT recovery on returned DDP orders
The biggest value is not just the delivery price
For qualifying UK-made goods, customs duty can be reduced to 0%. This lowers the landed cost before delivery.
If the order is later returned, EAS recovers 90% of the paid import VAT. This protects margin after delivery as well.
On a €220 clothing order, EAS protects €68.04 across the order lifecycle: €26.40 in avoided duty and €41.64 recovered if the order is returned.

EU delivery prices and DDP savings
Start with delivery prices for all 27 EU countries. For orders over €150, use the DDP savings calculator to compare your complete landed cost with EAS, including potential customs-duty savings and import VAT recovery on returns.
Calculate how much you could save with EAS DDP
This calculator is only for orders over €150, excluding VAT and delivery. Compare EAS with your current DDP provider using the complete landed cost, including delivery, handling, clearance, customs duty and VAT. The estimate also shows potential duty savings and import VAT recovery if the order is returned.
EU delivery prices
Compare EAS DDP and EAS IOSS Delivery rates across four weight bands: 0–1 kg, 1–2 kg, 2–3 kg and 3–5 kg. For orders over €150, use the DDP savings calculator to see how much you could save through preferential customs treatment and import VAT recovery on returns.

DDP percentage fees and plan levels
The applicable DDP percentage fee is calculated from the order value. The delivery price shown above, import VAT and any customs duty are calculated separately.
For customers without EAS IOSS, the monthly amount is the minimum monthly invoice for DDP percentage fees. It is not added on top of the percentage fees already generated during that month.
No percentage fee or additional monthly delivery fee
EAS IOSS Delivery uses the country and weight-based delivery prices shown above. It is available only to customers with an active EAS IOSS service.
A clear operational flow from registration to delivery
The correct IOSS or DDP route is applied automatically. The merchant does not manually choose the import workflow for each order.
Register
Register for EAS DDP and provide the information required for activation.
Complete the setup
Follow the EAS instructions for the minimal Shopify or WooCommerce configuration. Add the payment method and complete the Power of Attorney where required.
Generate the label and ship
Generate the delivery label through EAS and hand the parcel to Royal Mail through your normal pickup or drop-off process. EAS applies the correct IOSS or DDP route automatically.
Charges are handled through EAS
For DDP orders, taxes, duties, delivery charges and applicable EAS fees are charged to the registered card or collected by Direct Debit. IOSS VAT continues through the normal monthly EAS process.

Answers to the questions that matter most when using EAS DDP alongside EAS IOSS.
Does EAS DDP cover every order value?
The EAS workflow covers the full customer journey. Eligible orders use EAS IOSS Delivery, while higher-value orders use EAS DDP.
Do EAS IOSS customers pay a separate monthly DDP plan fee?
No. EAS IOSS customers do not pay a separate monthly DDP plan fee. Their DDP percentage level follows their EAS IOSS plan.
Does EAS DDP require a minimum monthly shipment volume?
No. EAS DDP does not require a minimum monthly shipment volume. Merchants can use the service for the shipment volume that fits their business, including selected EU markets or the full EU.
How does the DDP plan work for a customer without EAS IOSS?
The monthly DDP plan fee works as the minimum monthly invoice for DDP percentage fees. It is not added on top of the calculated percentage fees. For example, if the Plus minimum is €329 and the calculated percentage fees are €339, the total is €339, not €668.
What is included in the country delivery prices?
The country table shows the customer-facing delivery price for the selected weight bracket. DDP percentage fees, import VAT and customs duty are calculated separately for DDP orders.
When can customs duty be reduced to 0%?
Preferential treatment can apply when the goods qualify as UK origin and meet the applicable rules of origin. Goods that are only shipped from the UK do not automatically qualify.
How does VAT recovery on returns work?
When an EAS DDP order is returned or refunded, EAS recovers 90% of the paid import VAT for the merchant.
Can EAS be activated only for selected countries?
Yes. Merchants can start with selected EU countries or use EAS across all 27 EU Member States.
Is a printed delivery label refundable?
No. Once a delivery label has been printed, the label charge is non-refundable.
Can the DDP savings calculator result be shared?
Yes. For orders over €150, the calculator stores its selections and the active calculator view in the page URL. Use “Copy estimate link” to share the same inputs with a colleague or customer.
One workflow for IOSS deliveries and higher-value DDP orders
Register for EAS DDP, review your country pricing and give EU customers a delivery experience without border payments. There is no minimum monthly shipment volume, and EAS IOSS customers pay no separate monthly DDP plan fee.
Ship to all 27 EU countries from Australia, Japan, the US, Canada and beyond.
Keep your local postal operator. EAS solves the EU delivery problem for IOSS and higher-value DDP orders.
The new €3 customs duty has left many national postal operators unable to offer tax-and-duty-paid delivery across the whole EU. EAS gives international merchants one postal route to all 27 EU countries. You keep your existing postal operator for the first mile, and EAS handles the EU import process, the applicable taxes and duties, automated relabelling and onward delivery.
EU coverage should not depend on what your postal operator can currently support.
From 1 July 2026, eligible low-value imports into the EU are subject to the new €3 customs duty. Many postal operators cannot currently offer a tax-and-duty-paid IOSS route to every EU country.
That can leave merchants with limited destination coverage, or force them onto courier services where the handling charge for collecting a €3 duty can be far higher than the duty itself.
EAS solves this with one postal route covering all 27 EU Member States.
One operational setup on both sides of the €150 threshold.
EAS uses the same EU gateway for eligible IOSS orders and higher-value DDP shipments. The tax and customs treatment changes automatically with the order value.

Your first mile stays local. EAS handles Europe.
You do not need to replace the postal operator you already use. The first-mile parcel travels to EAS in Estonia, where the EU import and onward delivery process begins.
Ship with your local post
Create the first-mile shipment using your normal national postal operator and address the parcel to the EAS processing point in Estonia.
Add the S10 tracking number
Add the first-mile postal S10 tracking number to the corresponding order in the EAS Dashboard.
EAS handles EU import
EAS processes the applicable customs information, VAT, duties and import formalities when the parcel enters the EU.
We forward it to the customer
The parcel is automatically processed, relabelled and sent onwards through the EU postal network to the final recipient.
Keep your first-mile postal rates. EAS takes over at the EU gateway.
Your first-mile postage is purchased directly from your existing postal operator. Because that cost differs by origin country and postal contract, there is no single universal worldwide-to-EU shipping price.
EAS pricing covers the EU-side process: onward delivery, the applicable tax and duty treatment, and the relevant EAS service.
Purchased by you directly from your national postal operator, using your existing rates and account.
EAS handles the EU gateway, applicable VAT and duties, customs processing, relabelling and delivery to the final EU destination.
Clear EAS pricing from Estonia to all 27 EU countries.
Your first-mile postage to EAS Estonia stays with your existing postal operator. The table below shows the EAS EU onward delivery charge from Estonia to the final EU destination.

Simple delivery pricing for eligible IOSS orders
The delivery price in the table is the EAS EU onward delivery charge. The €3 customs duty is handled through EAS separately from the delivery rate.
DDP percentage fees and plan levels
The applicable DDP percentage fee is calculated from the order value. EU onward delivery, import VAT and customs duty are calculated separately.
For customers without EAS IOSS, the monthly amount is the minimum monthly invoice for DDP percentage fees. It is not added on top of percentage fees already generated during that month.
Benefit from applicable EU trade agreements.
EAS takes the product origin into account when calculating customs duties. Where the goods qualify under an applicable EU trade agreement, customs duties may be reduced or eliminated.
Examples of qualifying origin markets
Depending on the product, origin rules and supporting documentation, preferential treatment may apply to goods originating in markets such as:
Keep the first mile you already have. Remove the EU delivery limitation.
One EAS route gives you complete EU destination coverage instead of relying on country-by-country postal availability.
Continue using your existing national postal operator for outbound first-mile shipping.
One operational route for eligible IOSS shipments and higher-value DDP orders.
EAS handles the new low-value customs duty through the same EU delivery infrastructure.
The applicable taxes and duties are handled before final delivery to the recipient.
Customs processing, relabelling and onward delivery are designed to run with minimal manual handling.
A straightforward setup for international postal sellers.
The worldwide route is designed for supported EAS ecommerce integrations and national postal first-mile shipments.

Worldwide to EU delivery with EAS
Do I need to change my postal operator?
No. You use your existing national postal operator to send the first-mile parcel to EAS in Estonia. EAS then handles the EU import process and onward delivery.
Why can’t EAS show one complete worldwide shipping price?
Your first-mile postage is purchased directly from your own postal operator and depends on your country, postal service and commercial rates. EAS pricing therefore covers the EU-side delivery and import process rather than the first-mile journey to Estonia.
Where do I send the parcel?
The first-mile parcel is sent to the designated EAS processing address in Estonia. It should not be addressed directly to the end customer, because EAS needs to receive the parcel before EU customs clearance and onward delivery.
What is an S10 number?
The S10 number is the international postal tracking identifier found on your first-mile postal label. It is used to connect the parcel travelling to EAS with the correct EAS order.
Do I have to add the S10 number to EAS?
Yes. At this stage, the S10 number is added to the corresponding EAS shipment in the EAS Dashboard before the parcel is sent to EAS.
Does routing through Estonia create a significant delay?
The EAS handover and relabelling process is highly automated and designed to minimise additional processing time before the parcel continues to its final EU destination.
Can I use the service for orders of €150 or less?
Yes. Eligible low-value shipments can use EAS IOSS Delivery through the same EU gateway. The IOSS VAT and the €3 customs duty are handled through the applicable EAS process, and no DDP percentage fee applies to IOSS deliveries.
Can I use DHL, FedEx or another courier for the first mile?
At this stage, the worldwide EAS route is designed for national postal operators that provide an S10 postal tracking number. Courier first-mile services are not part of this workflow.
Keep the first mile you already have. Let EAS handle Europe.
Use your existing postal operator to reach EAS in Estonia, then let EAS take care of the EU import process, applicable taxes and duties, and onward delivery to all 27 EU countries.
