EUDR compliance management platform

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires companies placing certain commodities and derived products on the EU market or exporting them from the EU to demonstrate that products are deforestation-free and produced in accordance with relevant legislation.

To meet EUDR requirements, businesses must

  • Collect supply chain traceability information
  • Provide geolocation data for production areas
  • Perform and document risk assessment
  • Submit an EUDR Due Diligence Statement (DDS) through the EU Information System via TRACES

How EAS helps

EAS is an EUDR compliance management platform and EUDR compliance software designed to help operators and traders manage documentation, prepare Due Diligence Statements, support TRACES EUDR submission, and maintain full regulatory records.

EUDR application dates

The European Commission lists the entry into application as follows.

Large and medium operators

30 December 2026

Micro and small operators

30 June 2027

Micro and small operators already covered by EUTR

Scope note for publishers

A targeted revision adopted by the Council removed certain printed products, such as books, newspapers, and printed pictures, from the scope of the regulation, reflecting limited deforestation risk for these items.

Some publishing businesses may still be affected depending on what they place on the EU market and how their supply chain is structured, for example through packaging or other covered products.

How EAS supports EUDR compliance

EAS automates the core EUDR requirements through a structured compliance workflow built for compliance, sustainability, and legal teams.

Supply chain traceability

Collection and organisation of supplier and product data required for EUDR due diligence.

Geolocation data

Store and manage geolocation information for covered commodities and products.

Risk assessment

Guided workflows to assess and document risk, including mitigation steps and evidence.

Due Diligence Statements

Preparation and management of DDS inputs and supporting documentation.

TRACES submission support

Support for EU Information System submission workflows once the DDS is ready.

Audit-ready recordkeeping

Secure storage of due diligence documentation for the required retention period of at least five years.

Built for compliance operations, not supply chain mapping

Some EUDR tools focus on complex supply chain mapping or satellite monitoring. EAS focuses on operational compliance automation, enabling businesses to submit Due Diligence Statements and manage regulatory documentation without building internal compliance infrastructure.
